The line chart illustrates how many people went to cinema in different age over the period of 20 years starting 1984, which was measured in percentage. Overall, it can be seen from the graph that there were fluctuated proportion in almost age group.
In 1984, there was roughly 18% people of the age of 15-24 came to cinema theater. Then, this figure rose sharply to around 33% in 1990 before experiencing fluctuated trend till 1995 and remained stable at around 38% in 1996. After that, the percentage of people from 15-24 reached a peak at nearly 60% and saw a mild decrease to 52%. Similarly, as for 7-14 age group, after suffering from some fluctuations throughout 8 years, then raising significantly to 40% in 1995 and driving to nearly 30% in 2000.
In terms of 25-35 age group, before growing to over 30% in 2000, there was a substantial plummet from approximately 5% in 1984 and upward vary during next 5 years. The proportion of people from 35 years old increase gradually to roughly 9% in 1996 before declining to 6% in next year and rising slightly to approximately 15% in 2000.
