The given graph illustrates the amount of six kind of energy ( petrol and
oil, coal, natural gas, nuclear, solar or wind and hydropower) which were
consumed by American over the period of 50 years from 1980 with projection
to 2030.

Overall, petrol and oil was steadily the highest consumption over the given
period, following by coal and natural gas. On the other hand, nuclear,
solar or wind and hydropower were utilized under 9 quadrillion during 50
years. The consumption of hydropower was the smallest among six types from
1980 to 2030.

With regards yo the amount of petrol and oil used, it began at 35
quadrillion and fluctuated for the next 15 years before increasing
dramatically and reach a peak at about 50 quadrillion in the last year.
Meanwhile, there was a similar change between coal and natural gas over the
period as they always ranged from 16 to 30 quadrillion. Among the three
other energy utilization , nuclear was the most used and maintained growing
slightly until reached 9 quadrillion in 2030 while hydropower dropped at
2.5 quadrillion.
