Chữa bài IELTS Task 1

The line graph gives information about the U.S energy consumption by fuel from 1980 to 2008 and projected use to 2030, with units measured in quadrillion units (q).
Overall, it is clear that the amount of petrol and oil, coal and natural gas are the dominant sources throughout the years while energy generated from nuclear, solar/wind and hydropower will remain the least.
In 1980, 35q of energy was deprived from petrol and oil, which was the highest among the six criteria. Despite initial fluctuations between 30q and 35q, this figure saw a considerable increase to over 40q by 2005, predicted to reach nearly 50q in the end of the period. In the first year, the amount of energy production from natural gas and coal was 20q and about 17q, respectively. Similar to the figure for petrol and oil, those for coal and natural gas had fluctuated around 20q before energy produced from coal outraced the figure for natural gas in 2005. While coal is projected to reach approximately 30q in 2050, the figure for natural gas will remain stable at 25q, which is 5q lower.
At the beginning, each of the minor sources produced under 5q. While the figure for nuclear increased slightly to about 7q in 2005, those for solar/wind and hydropower saw a fluctuation around 5q. While energy from nuclear is predicted to grow to slightly under 10q, other two sources will remain no more than 5q.
