The graph below shows the changes in food consumption by Chinese people between 1985 and 2010.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The line graph compares the weekly consumption of three different types of food per person in China from 1985 to 2010.
It is clear from the graph that fish was by far the most commonly consumed food during the period reported. Additionally, while the consumption of fish and meat increased, there was a gradual decline in the figure for salt.
In 1985, one Chinese person consumed about 600 grams of fish per week, whereas the consumption of salt was slightly lower, at just below 500 grams. At the same year, only about 100 grams of meat was eaten weekly by one person. For the next 15 years, the fish consumption fluctuated slightly from 600 grams to 700 grams, while the amount of salt and meat consumed witnessed a drop of 200 grams and a rise of 100 grams respectively.
In 2010, fish weekly consumption per person increased dramatically to 850 grams and became the highest figure in the line graph, while salt’s figure experienced a steady decrease to about 200 grams.
