Chữa bài IELTS Task 2
Topic: It is better for students at university to live far away from home than to live at home with their parents. What are the advantages and disadvantages, and give your own opinion.
Essay:
Entering the university is an essential turning-point in each student’s life. It is believed that students should move out from family to get familiar with the outside life. This essay is going to discuss about some advantages and disadvantages of both ways before giving personal opinion.
One of the biggest benefits of staying near the campus is that it can bring the very first lessons about independence and responsibility to the students. Unlike living with parents, the students have to manage their meals and balance their budget for monthly bills by themselves. No one can help them or take their responsibility. Thus, they can learn how to be independent and responsible for their own life. However, it will also take the students more time to do the household chores or prepare meals. Without moms’ help, they have to manage time for these no-name works and have less time for studying.
Nowhere is as comfortable as home. Obviously, living with the family can give the best conditions for the students to concentrate on studying. They do not have to worry about anything except assignments and homework. This can make their results better. On the other hand, living with family can invisibly build a limit that prevents the students from having great memories with friends in the university since they have to ask for parents’ permission in any single activity such as overnight party or unplanned outing.
In a nutshell, staying near the university as well as living with family both have pros and cons. Personally, I prefer living far from family for independence skill and unforgettable memories with friends in the university.Attachments:
