Chữa bài IELTS Task 2
Many students have to study subjects which they do not like. Some people
think this is a complete waste of time. Do you agree or disagree with this
statement? One of the most unenjoyable thing in school for some students are compulsory subjects. People think that studying those that their children do not like is completely time-consuming. In my perspective, I agree with that statement because of these reasons.
Firstly, it is much easier for students to learn new things with a motivative education system. If they are allowed to freely choose their dream jobs and the related subjects, young learners will know that the better they are at those subjects the higher rate that they can get their ideal job in the future. Therefore, they feel motivated in studying and are likely to do it outstandingly. In contrast, being forced to cover too much at school may lead to overload and stress which keep children away from studying well.
Secondly, students need to learn not only academic knowledge but also vital realistic skills. Therefore, parents should encourage students to spend more time exploring the world around them by having them learnt only subjects that their children really need for their career. For instance, along with going to school, they should play sports, communicate with people or take part in some social activities to help others. Those would really help them to fully grow up in terms of both mentality and physicality.
In conclusion, I think that having to learn disliking subjects is a waste of time for students because of above stated reasons. Parents and teachers should encourage young learners to study what they like and what are really helpful for them.Attachments:
