The maps compare the Grange Park at the beginning in 1920 and nowadays.
Overall, it is noticeable that the park has witnessed a dramatic change in terms of modernization. Meanwhile, there are still many roses in the garden areas.
In 1920, there was a fountain located in the heart of the park with a stage for musicians right next to it to the left. However, a big rose garden has replaced the fountain and authorities have set a water features in the south-east of the park instead. Moreover, the small stage has become an amphitheater for concerts while all the seats distributed along the park border have been gathered around the centered rose garden.
Today, there is one more entrance added to the south-east of the park which is an underground car park. Meanwhile, the pond for water plants has disappeared and a children’s play area is contributed at the north-east corner. Next to the playground, there is no rose garden anymore but a cafe which is in close proximity to the main entrance.[4/3/2020, 4:22:43 PM] Cám ơn các bạn!
