Some children think that some subjects such as mathematics and philosophy are too difficult for them to study at school, so they should be made optional rather than compulsory. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Mathematics and phylosopy are the compulsory subjects that student have to study at school. I totally agree with that because they are the basic subjects, which anyone will need in their life.
We all know that students start to study mathematics in primary school and phylosophy in high school. Mathematics help students get used to with the number, build up the logical thinking, which is really necessary in the real life. Besides that, phylosophy is the subject of spychology and science of believe. It helps students being more mature and have the openminded with others people problems.
For example, mathematics is being used all around the world no matter where, when and who. A kid learn how to count the candies and money, the students study more complicated subjects using mathematics knowledge like science, physic and chemistry. An CEO or director calculate and manage their business everyday. As for phylosophy, this subject teach students understand things from what they truly are and have a good way to deal with problem out of the science thinking. Students can study how to discover the real strength and promote them-selve to get the best achievement they can. Moreover, understanding them-selve is the first step to get them to the self-motivate process, the ability that not many people can have.
Students may not aware the important of studying mathematics and phylosophy at schools. They are tough but definitely worthy to study for a brighter future. Without these subjects, the students will not be able to adapt and developt in an open world like these days.Sport
