Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below.The given bar charts compare the proportion of the buyers in the different age groups and gender in terms of three kinds of the albums including Pop, Rock and classical music in Britain.
Overall, it is clear that in all studied cases, the rate of men who purchase music albums is more than that for women. Pop and rock music are more popular among young people while classical music is preferred by people over 45 years old.
In details, the percentage of men who pay for the pop and rock albums is around 28%. This figure is nearly three times as much as that of classical albums, at almost 10%. Only 20% women spend money on Pop albums. The figure for rock is similar, at approximately 20% compared to 7% of classical albums.
According to the age groups, about 30% and 25% of those who age 16-24 and 35-44 buy Pop music, respectively, while in contrast under 3% of both these age groups spend on classical music. The young people of the 25 to 34 age group are the most favorite the types of pop and rock. The figure for rock music is around 31% and pop music is 30% compared to 16% of classical albums. Finally, 20% of people aged over 45 purchase classical music, while the figure for Pop and rock is a half, at nearly 10%.Attachments:
