It is true that health is one of the most important factor of human life. While I support the idea that people should take care of themselves for their own good, I believe that social responsibility should also be considered as a motivational factor.
On the one hand, everyone has a life and a body to be responsible for. They should assure a good healthy lifestyle for their body such as doing exercises, eating clean and nutritious food in order to function the body properly. By maintaining moderation for their body, there will be significant improvement for health and they will be the first one to benefit from that change. Moreover, living a healthy life physically and mentally can increase productivity in work as well as happiness and lifespan that everyone wish for and they should take action to gain it for themselves as a priority.
On the other hand, people should also take social duty as a motivation for living healthy. Firstly is for their family and other people who they care for. Being healthy can be a good example for other members of the family and can encourage them to follow. Moreover, they can reduce the chance of getting bad deseases or illness and therefore bring joy to them and their family. In terms of society, when they can take care of their health well, they will have more time and effort to accomplish other tasks and be a successful citizen.
In conclusion, both individual purposes and social duty should be important consideration as well as motivation for people to looking after their life properly.
