Some people believe that children are bought whatever they ask for by their parents and have to do whatever their parents allow is a bad parenting style. In my point of view, I completely agree with that idea because that parenting style will cause a lot of consequences for children.First of all, self- control is one of the most important thing in personality. If the parent want their children do something, they will have to buy them a thing they like. So that when those children grown up, they won’t do anything their parents told without conditions. And this problem absolutely do not just stop in family zone. They just do the things which is offered by the others whenever this have a good conditions for them. It would really harmful for their present and future.
Sencondly, the discipline is also a key factor in parenting besides self- control. Having parents are teachers, I has been taught very strictly since I was young. One of my memories that I never forget is that I was punished when I tried to ask them buying me an expensive toy and it is useless with crying and lying right in the supermarket. They hit me by a hanger really hard and broke that hanger. I was extremely scared from that day and do not ask them give me something without needing.
In conclusion, parents should help children increase their independence and develop sefl- control in stead of trying to make them follow what they told by giving children whatever they ask for. This will benefit them a lot in the future.
