Overpopulation of urban areas has led to numerous problems. Identify one or two serious ones and suggest ways that governments and individuals can deal with these problems.
It is true that there are so many people live in metropolitan cities rather than rural ones. This essay will advocate on its consequences and some possible solutions to tackle this situation.
To begin with, overcrowded population causes some adverse consequences. The first thing to mention is traffic jams which is resulted by residents’ high demand of commuting. Such traffic congestion not only limits the convenience of people’s travelling but also pollutes the air severely that affects the quality of living. For instance, those who are stuck in traffic jams feel so stressed and unhappy or even unable to breathe because of fumes emitted from vehicles around. Moreover, crowded people can generate much social insecurity and high cost of living. Taking robbery and crime as an example, the realistic circumstances prove that such crimes witness a remarkable rise in metropolitan cities where residents are too many for the police force to strictly manage and supervise.
In order to solve the problem, some solutions can be attributed to deal with this problem. Firstly, the governments should call for investments from both local and foreign entrepreneurs by creating favorable conditions and legal corridors to facilitate their operations, especially for the businesses who make investments in rural or mountainous areas for the comprehensive development of all nation. Secondly, governments should study carefully and make a development plan for the provinces other than the urban areas so that any province has its own socio-economic strengths to attract the labors and prevent graduates’ flow to big cities. Finally, each citizen should be aware that good job opportunities can be available everywhere in the country if they devote their effort and talent to work in the poor land so as to improve that area into a promising one.
In conclusion, although crowded people in big cities causes some adverse impacts, there are still some methods considered effective in mitigate this problem’s vicious impact.[6/10/2018, 8:41:58 PM] Cám ơn các bạn!
