Chữa bài IELTS Task 1
Cambridge 8, test 2
The three pie charts below show the changes in annual spending by a particular UK school in 1981, 1991 and 2001.The pie charts compare the percentage of spending on different categories of a school in the UK in three years 1981, 1991 and 2001.
It is clear that teachers’ salaries accounted for the largest proportion of school’s budget in all three years. In contrast, expenditure for insurance was lowest.
In 1981, the proportion of spending on teachers’ salaries was highest, at 40%. This figure rose to 50% in 1991 and decreased by 5% in 2001. Meanwhile, expenditure on other workers’ wages experienced a gradual decline, from 28% of total school’s spending in 1981 to only 15% in 2001.
Only 2% of school’s budget went on insurance in 1991 but this rate reached 8% in 2001. The figures for resources and furniture/equipment were the same in 1991, at 15% and fluctuated during the 20-year period. The percentage of spending on these two categories reached their peaks at 20% in 1991 and at 23% in 2001 respectively.Attachments:
