Overall, both nations experienced a growth of units over the period of 20 years. Additionally, coal use in Australia accounted for a significant part compared to that in France.
From 1980 to 2000 in Australia, the use of coal surged significantly by 80 units and touched its peak in 2000 at 130 units. Likewise, the use of Hydro power increased moderatly to 36 units. In contrast, both the Natural Gas and Oil usages collapsed enormously to only two units compared to that in 1980 (20 units and 10 units respectively)
Over the same period in France, the use of coal remained constant (25 units). The Nuclear Power skyrocketed considerably to 126 units in 2000. Similarly, the use of Oil increased slightly by 5 units by the year 2000. Nevertheless, Hydro Power and Natural Gas usages both plunged to a tiny part of only 2 units.Attachments:
