Some people think that it is more beneficial to take part in sports which are played in teams, like football. While other people think that taking part in individual sports is better, like tennis or swimming. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
There is a considerable debate over which type of sport people should take part in. Some people think that team sport is better than individual ones. The others do not favour this opinion. In my point of view, I strongly believe that team sport is advantageous to participants.
On the other hand, playing in teams brings about various benefits. Firstly, it helps people make an improvement on teamwork skill. For example, in a football match, players have to cooperate with each other to put the ball into the opponent`s net. This corresponds to the process in which employees are required to work as a team in a particular project so as to obtain company’s objective. In addition, if participants get used to working in a team, they will be familiar with studying methods in higher education where almost students have their own groups to handle the tasks.
On the other hand, individual sports focus on the independence while team sports tend to build up network between participants. Evidently, joining individual sport boosts a person to overcome serious obstacles alone. For instance, a tennis player has to confront with challenges without the assistance of a partner. In addition, such type of sport is not highly beneficial to career as in practice, the majority of people prefer working in team to working individually.
In conclusion, a group is likely to execute the tasks better than one individual. Therefore, it is vitally necessary for people to devote their time to playing team sports.
