countries is to set up businesses and improve trade links with rich
countries

TASK

Poverty is a definitely difficult issue that many nations are facing
nowadays. Some people assume that poor countries should cooperate rich
countries in the commercial transaction to develop the economy. Personally,
there would be more effective measures that developing nations need to do
rather than focusing on improving economic collaboration.

To begin with, I agree that international cooperation is one of the good
measures to escape from impoverishment, but it can not be the best way.
Firstly, international trade could help us exchange our products to other
foreign countries. It is very important to introduce a nation’s products to
the global market. Secondly, one vitally useful thing is that we can study
technologies from foreign friends to apply for our manufacture. For
example, due to international cooperation, we have improved technologies in
agriculture to create many types of seeds including rice, potatoes,
tomatoes, bananas which can resist on worms causing a lot of diseases on
plants. Thanks to this development, our country can achieve the variety of
fruits to meet the domestic demands and exportation. Therefore, global
trade would be really crucial to totally develop not only the economy but
also other fields.

On the other hand, a top priority that we should do immediately to reduce
the number of people living in poverty would be enhancing education. There
are some reasons why we should concentrate on education. The first one is
that a good upbringing could raise the high-quality generations that are
knowledgable enough to absorb innovative technologies from developed
countries as well as to create the high-tech products for the national
industry. The last reason may be related to people’s awareness. It can be
very clear that a good education would bring the society more people that
are mature and conscious enough to recognize what they have to do to escape
from poverty and how they live to make benefits for themselves and
communities. Briefly, educational policy should be a prerequisite to
develop a nation.

To sum up, a nation would be rich if it had the high-quality human
resources. For this reason, education is one of the issues that need to be
invested most for helping poor countries growth the economy beside the
international trade links.
