Task 2: Some people think that printed books are not necessary in the digital era because all writing can be stored electronically. Others think printed books still play important role. Discuss both views and give you own opinion.
Several people argue that a variety of books which were printed will be replaced by e-books. However, I believe that printed books remain essential things in real life.
On the one hand, e-books are more useful than paper books. Firstly, the price of electronic books is affordable. Therefore, it is easy for everybody to access various famous and classical books across the world. They could broaden their knowledge quickly without spending much money to purchase traditional kind of books. Secondly, various online books are convenient in this busy life. Thanks to a smartphone or a tablet, individuals could not only bring numerous books to anywhere in the world but also find out any book which they need in the Internet. As the result, human being would upgrade their command.
On the other hand, there are many benefits of hand-writing books. One benefit is that printed book protect people’s eyesight. Meanwhile, if people watch or read electronic books for long hours, they may be short-sighted, paper books are more safety for individual health. After a hard-working day with computers, one hand-writing book would help them to relax and distress. Moreover, paper books let people appreciate authors of those books. In several situations, citizens could take a printed book as a gift to present friends, children or relatives.
In conclusion, with the development of technology, online books have various benefits in work or study. Notwithstanding, I believe that traditional kind of books always generate people’s mindset by far away electronic devices.
