Task 1:
The diagram illustrates the process manufacturing the leather items. Overall, the process consists of 3 stages.
The first stage is leather collecting. The skins after extracted from the animal are place under the sun for drying. Then, the dry animal skins are delivered to factories where the next stage begins.
The second stage is leather production. Firstly, dry animal skins are washed with water and lime. Then animal skins are soaked in the lime liquid for a certain amount of time before being flattened by a machine. The flattened skins are putted in a tannin liquid which contains water and vegetable matter. After, the skins are polished and become leathers.
The final stage is manufacture leather products. The leathers produced the last stage are transported to other factories where they are used to make merchandises such as shoes, handbags, balls and so on.
