The given illustrations provide some main feature of the life cycle of a species of fish called salmon.
There are three main stages of the development of this fish, commence with being salmon eggs and then finish their evolution by transforming into adult fish and laying eggs.
In the begining of salmons’ life cycle, in an upper river with slow flowing, 5 to 6-month-old salmon eggs are laid right next to some small stones and beyond them are reeds. Then these eggs develope into fry salmons with the length from 3 to 8 centimetres. When they reach 4 years old, they move to a lower but faster river. Afterwards, they transform into smolt salmons which are about 12-15 centimetre long. In the final stages of their development, they swim into open sees in the age of 5 and finally become adult salmons with tremendous increase in their length: 70-76 centimetres. After that, the salmons repeated their life cycle.
