IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO HELP ALL PEOPLE IN THE WORLD, SO GOVERNMENT SHOULD ONLY FOCUS ON THE PEOPLE IN THEIR COUNTRIES. DO YOU AGREE OR DISAGREE?
Some people think that it is impossible to help all people in the world, so governments should only focus on people in their own countries. I totally disagree with this opinion.
There are many reasons to help the foreign citizens or governments, one of them is none can survive alone without society, that also means there is no country can remain and develop without the relationship with the others. For example, in 2011, a large tsunami destroyed a variety of facilities and made numerous people become homeless and lose their family in Japan. Many organizations and countries in the world immediately gave a hand to help Japanese people to solve the consequences of tsunami by medical aid, raising fund and other activities. If none had not help them, it would have been a huge challenge for Japan to recover after a big disaster, the deaths would have been much more than reality. Like the lyric of “Heal the world” song says, “heal the world, make it a better place, for you and for me and the entire human race”, helping the other people, other countries not only makes a better world for everyone but also means that we are sharing a common humanity.
The other reason is supporting the other countries help governments get the benefit of economy, politic and so on. For instance, Japanese government provides millions dollar in ODA for Vietnam every years, which makes Japan becomes the biggest Vietnam’s donor, in exchange of Japanese companies take a lot of priorities for their business in Vietnam. Generally, aid to the other countries is a good way for great nations to expand their effect.
In conclusion, although I agree that it is hard to support all people in our society, helps from governments to the others are their international obligations and those are essential for both their own existence and development.[14:26:03, 2/5/2017] Cám ơn các bạn!
