Scientists say that in the future humanity will speak the same language. Do you think this is a positive or negative social development.

Researchers argue that human being would use the same language in the upcoming years. While I agree that this might suit some situations in communication, I believe that people are encouraged to speak their their mother tongue.
On the one hand, there are a variety of reasons why people speak the same language. One reason is that using the same language has a strong positive influence on business. In other words, co-operation between firms in different countries would be much more convenient when communication in international business mettings use the similar language. Obviously, this allows businessman co-operate and integrate into global working environent effectively. Furthermore, without facing language barriers , people would enable to access a vast amount of information and knowledge of any aspects of life. Not only does it give learners countless opportunities to enjoy the knowledge of humanity, but it also helps them exchange knowledge with their foreign friends on over the world. It is true that using the same language bring to people a good chance to richen and widen their intellect in a wide range of fields.
On the other hand, this trend has some downsides, the first, it is no doubt that the dominance of one language gradually eliminate the linguistic diversity in many countries around the world. As a result, the good value of historic events and legends of their own country could be underestimated by the next generations. It also means that foreign tourists would no longer enjoy the valuable tradition and costume of vietnamese. The second, using their first language is one of the most ways to express their country’s pride. Since they speak their mother tongue, they introduce to the young generations about cultural valuables in their own language clearly. Therefore, the young continue keeping the beauty of their country.
In conclusion, it is truth that the tendency of using a universal language is a concered issue today. Although I agree with a number of people that it is a welcome development, I do believe that we shoud speak the mother tongue to maintain the valuable culture.
