These days, in many countries fewer and fewer people want to become teachers, particularly in secondary schools.
——————————————————————————–
What are the reasons for this, and how could the problems be solved?Recent years, secondary teachers is becoming less popular in many countries. Although there are some reasons behind this, both governments and parents can give hands to tackle these issues.
The main problems makes more graduate students stay outside of the teaching world are low salary and stressful work. There have been many critics in a lot of nations that teachers may not afford to handle living expenses for themselves and dependents by own salary. Moreover, many schools do not have teaching assistants, who share workload with main instructors, forcing them have to work many hours, thus, lead to work-life imbalance and stressful situations. Another problem is a majority of students nowadays do not have the same respect for their teachers like those in the past. In previous generations, students always followed their teachers’ instructions, but now it often does not happen and in some worse occasions, they may be rude with their respectful ones.
Nevertheless, these troubles can be tackled by both authorities and parents. For the governments, allocating more budget for education sector including increase teachers’ salary and hire more teaching assistants would help improve their motivation as well as ease the burden on daily jobs. Besides that, the family parents should educate children how to act respectfully not only in education environment but also in society as the whole. This would help generate more well-behaved students in the schools and then polite adults in the community.
In conclusion, a lot of existing problems hesitate youngsters to be teachers, however, those could be solved effectively with the joint collaboration of both governments and parents.Attachments:
