A high level of wealth inequality is to blame or a higher level of crime and political manipulation. First and foremost, it is an disputable fact that poverty breeds crime. Indeed, suffering from increasingly desperate plights, impoverished people have a tendency to fail to make ends meet; therefore, in order to survive and thrive, committing crime seems to be more a matter of necessity than a matter of choice. Moreover, financial burderns also hinder low income groups from gaining access to proper education, that results in a higher propensity for criminal behaivor. Additionally, it is often true that wealthy citizens maintain disproportion political power compared to poorer citizens, inducing the corruption of political processes and unfair policies that are in favor of the wealthy and abused against poorer groups.
It is necessary for governments to freely offer public education and stimulate the contribution of the poor in political activities. To commence with, only by receiving grants for tuition fee can children living under poverty line afford better educational opportunities. As a result, being equipped with both academic and moral knowledge, students have tendency to stay away from social evils and enhance their employment prospects. Also of great importance is encouraging poor members of society namely farmers and manual workers to participate in political acitivities. That government work is supervised and implemented by all class of citizens facilitates the transparency and justice in every national policy.
