In current times, we can read about and view images of artistically, culturally and
historically significant works from anywhere with an internet connection. Some people
believe that the advent of the internet has made the existence of art galleries and public museums obsolete. I personally disagree, and my view will be explained in this essay.First and foremost, the main role of the museum is to entertain. Museums are tourist attractions, and their aim is to exhibit a collection of interesting objects that many people will want to see. Lately, according to some reports show that the number of visitors to the museum tends to increase significantly, synonymous with many who have realized the importance of the museum.
Thanks to revenue from ticket sales to visit the museum that can improve the place effectively and have interactive activities or even games to attract people.The second reason is that museums are examples of informal learning environments, which means they devoted primarily to informal education whereby individuals acquire attitudes, values, skills, knowledge from daily experience.
In fact, there has a number of organizations about art chats, book signings, professional development classes, and farmer’s markets that permit whoever is going to want to engage and learn experience.In summary, although some people may claim that museums or art galleries are not necessary in the modern world, I am still in favor of the opinion that they still play a critical significance in our life.
