TASK 2:
Some people prefer to spend time with one or two close friends. Others choose spend time with a large number of friends. Compare the advantages of each choice. Which of these two ways of spending time do you prefer? Use specific reasons to support your answer.
Answer:
Friends are indispensable part of your life. It is extremely difficult to image the world without friends around us. Some people prefer to spend time with a circle of friends while others choose spend time with one or to best fellows. From my point of view, both of two options have proper bright sides.
To begin with, for the choice of spending time with one and two friends, in my mind, it brings you the comfortableness and relaxation. Conventionally, they are your best friends, it means that you can share happiness or sadness with them without hesitation. Whenever you have to confront massive obstacles in the path of life, perhaps at that time, you feel “blue in the face” and want to fall down immediately; however, the appearance of best friends is your light so that you could strengthen to overcome difficulties. Especially, friends also are your family which is a firm shoulder for you. For example, I have lived far from my family about eleven years, during a long time, loneliness will cover my heart if I do not have close friends.
On the other hand, spending with a circle of friends gives me opportunities to understand different characters. It is no doubt that thanks to organizing many activities along with a large number of friend, you become more confident and extroverted in your life. For instance, you hardly sing karaoke, dancing or going to the beach to bathe, there is no problem when you carry out these activities with a group of friends. They encourage you to sing, to dance or bathe, even do it together.
Considering all of above aspects, my personal preference is to have some friends because I strongly agree with an idiom “a friend in need is a friend indeed”. I only need a close friend who I can share every secret and give support together in our life.
In conclusion, I would like to recap my opinion that both of them have different benefits, personally, the number of friends is not crucial, the remarkable friendship is significant.
