The pie charts below give data on the spending and consumption of resources by countries of the world and how the population is distributed.

The three pie charts illustrate the structure of population as well as various categories of expenditure and power consumption around the world. At the first glance, it is obvious that food accounts for the largest figure of global spending. Another visible trend is that while the most populous area is Asia, USA and Europe consume resources more than other regions.

As can be seen from first graph, while 24% of world expenditure is used for food, only one fourth of that is spent on clothing, which is the smallest number in this group. Meanwhile, transport and housing take the second and third position in spending respectively, with 18% for the former and 12% for the latter, equal to three thirds and half of that for food.

According to the two remaining charts, global population is allocated unequally, concentrating mainly in Asia with 57%. Other areas share the rest of world population. Whereas Europe and Americas have the same proportion at 14%, Africa only constitutes 10%. However, 28% of global population in USA and Europe harnesses 60% of overall power in this planet, whilst more than 70% of population only employs 40% left.
