The computer is widely used in education and some people think that teacher will not play important roles in the classroom. Do you agree or disagree?
Recently, the question of whether the compute replaces teachers’ roles or not has been receiving a great deal of public attention. Although the computer brings a ton of benefits in education, this statement should not be approved.
There are a whole host of reasons for that. First, since teachers not only give students knowledge but also teach them the way to live thoughtfully, which is the priority criteria in any education systems. In fact, not only teachers’ enthusiasm can lead naughty, mischievous students back to the right direction, not the robotic command from any machines. Second, by organizing many activities in class like presentation, debate, think-pair-share, teachers provide students with opportunities to reach some vital soft skills such as public speaking, critical thinking, teamwork. These skills are known as essential for almost every job.
Furthermore, as just teachers, not the computer has enough educational command, knowledge and experience to promote real interaction with pupils. Obviously, teachers are completely more flexible than a machine in answering all questions, confusing of students, especially unusual or unpredictable questions, this helps them gain a better understanding. Finally, when teachers’ roles are underestimated, people tend to rely too much on machine. This reduces people’ value and makes them believe in the computer’s abilities instead of their, thus it is highly considered that human will have to face to the imbalance in the future workforce.
In conclusion, although using computer brings people many advantages, teachers still hold the most crucial role in class that can never be substituted by anything.[7/22/2019, 6:45:07 PM] Cám ơn các bạn!
