The tables compare the average hours that both part-time and full-time employees work in three distinctive nations in Europe with that of the European countries.
Overall, the number of hours that men spent on working, regardless of their types of jobs, were higher than women. The tables also indicates that among three countries, employees from Greece were the most dedicated to their work.
For full-time workers, women average amount of working time in Greece was 39.9 hours, about 2.6 hours less than men. The number that both genders spent on their work was considerably higher than the European average time of men and women, which are 40.4 and 39.2 respectively. While the working hours of men in the UK was also longer than women, Dutch males and females dedicated the same amount of time (38 hours) for work. However, employees in both countries allocated time for work less than the European average.
In terms of part-time workers, compared to the working hours of the European average, all three nations worked for smaller amount of time. Similar to the full-time workers, part-time employees in Greece dedicated the longest time for their jobs with the figure of 30 hours for men and 29.3 hours for women. Only females in Netherlands worked more than men with the difference of nearly one hour.Attachments:
