Chữa bài IELTS Task 1
The table shows the amount of carbon dioxide produced in five countries in the years 2005 and 2006.
It can be seen from the table that China and United States had the largest total amount of carbon dioxide and China also ranked the highest in the rate of increased tonnes of carbon dioxide over a year.
Of the five countries, in the year 2005, each American produced the most tonnes of carbon dioxide, 19.8. Meanwhile, each Russian and Japanese emitted only 12 and 9.8 tonnes of carbon dioxide respectively, compared to 4.6 tonnes by each Chinese person and 1.2 tonnes by an Indian.
In total, the amount of carbon dioxide produced by the United States and China was 5682 million of tonnes for the former one and 5130 million of tonnes for the latter one. However, 2006 saw a significant rise in the percentage of carbon dioxide in China, which made China overtake the United States to become the greatest source of carbon dioxide producer. The figure for India in 2005 was only 1259, but the amount of carbon dioxide in this country rose considerably to 1369 million tonnes in a year, whereas, the sum of carbon dioxide in Russia was 1704 million tonnes and in Japan was 1196 million tonnes but the figures had no significant change by 2006.Attachments:
