The table illustrates the proportion of students who satisfied with the quality of some particular fields at a university from 2000 to 2010.
Overall, print resources gained the greatest satisfaction of students. Furthermore, with the exception of electronic resources, there was an insignificant change in terms of good ratings for the other aspects.
In 2000, print resources were the most preferred aspect of the university, accounting for 87%. This was followed by building and teaching facilities and technical quality with 77% and 65% respectively. Electronic resources came next at 45% in the first year, which overtook the others to receive the best student ratings along with print resources in the final year. The final position belonged to range of modules offered with 32%.
From 2000 to 2010, electronic resources witnessed a significant increase of 43% in the student satisfaction rate. Similarly, the percentage of students giving good ratings for technical quality, experienced a slight decrease before reaching a peak of 69% in 2010. By contrast, the proportion of students who satisfied with the range of modules offered, modestly dropped to 27% throughout the given period of time. Finally, the figures for the 2 remaining aspects remained relatively unchanged.
