Chữa bài IELTS Task 1
The line graph illustrates the dissimilarities among the amount of average CO2 emissions released per person in the UK, Sweden, Italy and Portugal from 1967 to 2007. Overall, there were downwards trends in the volume of CO2 in the UK and Sweden whereas, the rest countries experienced decidedly upwards trends.
British and Swedish people accounted for the two highest amounts of CO2 emissions in 1967 (roughly 11 MT and 8.6 MT respectively). In the following years, this figure for the UK decreased gradually to approximately 8.5 MT in 2007. Interestingly, in Sweden, there was a significant increase in this amount of emissions (nearly 11 MT in 1977) followed by a sudden decline to 7 MT in the 1987 and then a gradual increase in the two next decades.
In contrast, in Portugal, although starting at the lowest level of CO2 emissions (only 1.6 MT in 1967), there was then a dramatic surge in the next years with nearly 5.5 MT emissions released in 2007. In 1967, Italians released roughly 4.1 MT emissions. In the next decade, this figure increased sharply to over 6 MT before rose gradually to roughly 8 MT in the next 20 years and then remained constant.Attachments:
