The line graph compares four sectors in terms of the number of acid rain
emissions in the UK from 1990 to 2007.It is true that there was a general decline in the amount of acid rain
emissions for three sectors except other industries sectors. the most
dramatic decrease was seen in electricity, gas and water supply sector.In 1990, over 3.3 million tones of acid rain emissions came from
electricity, gas and water supply sector. while the figure for other
industries sector was roundly 2.1 million tone of emissions, the amount of
acid rain emissions in transport and communication was appoximately 0.6
million tones. Over 0.5 millions of acid rain emissions that was lowest
amount in the same time came from domestic sector.The number of emissions in electricity, gas and water supply sector saw a
dramatically decrease to only 0.5 million tones in 2007, exceeding the
figure for domestic sector, which had below 0.3 million tones. The figure
for other industries sector gradually decrease to over 1 million tones of
acid rain emissions in the year 2007. In terms of transport and
communication sector, after reaching a peak of 1 million tones in 2005, the
figure declined to below 0.8 million tones of acid rain emissions.Attachments:
