The provided line graph compares average yearly spending on two kinds of phone concluding of mobile phone and landline phone during a 10-year period. Overall, it is obvious that there was an opposite tendency in the figures for those.
As can be seen from the graph, in the year 2001, US consumers spent on average of nearly $700 on residential phone services while the amount of money was used for cell phone services, closely round 4 times lesser than, with roughly $200.
After that, landline phone services saw a gradual decrease by approximately $200 from 2001 to 2006, prior to overtaking the line for mobile phone services. In 2010, it reached a trough of just well $400.
By contrast, there was an upturn in the amount of money spending on cell phone services over the same period, before peaking at just beyond $700 at the end.Attachments:
