4.35%The given table compares how different common categories are consumed in several countries. The survey took place in the year of 2002.
Overall, it can be seen that, of all sectors mentioned, the major proportion was believed to be food/drinks/tobacco with Ireland and Turkey took the leads. Meanwhile, Italy hold the first place in clothing/footwear whereas Turkey dominated others in terms of leisure/education.
A more detailed look at the graph reveals that when it comes to food/drinks/tobacco, Turkey and Ireland accounted for roughly 32.14% and 28.91% respectively. In contrast, the rate for Sweden was perceived to be the smallest, at around 15.77%. Regarding clothing/footwear, Italy spent 9.00% of their budget on appearances, which is the highest, compared to the lowest rate of 5.40% in Sweden. While huge percentage of Turkish consumers would pay for leisure/education, at exactly 4.35%, only 1.98% of Spanish thought they should invest in the field.
