The first graph below shows the weight (in tonnes) of fruit produced by a farm during each month in 2013, and also the amount (in tonnes) of fertiliser used. The second graph shows the volume of rainfall in each month (in millimetres.) Write a report summarising the information. Select and describe the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The graphs provide data on the weight of fruit produced in a farm per month in 2013, in relation to the fertiliser used and monthly rainfall.
Overall, the farmers applied the amount of fertiliser mostly according to the volume of rainfall. Conversely, the tonnage of fruit produced was highest when fertiliser and rainfall were lowest.
It can be seen from the first graph that in January, fruit weighed more than 2 tonnes then it rose rapidly to its peak in August with the figure of 4.2 tonnes. However, in the last four months of 2013, fruit production declined dramatically to the initial number of 2.2 tonnes. Have a look at fertiliser use, from January to April, the amount of fertiliser increased gradually, it also made April the month that fertiliser was used the most. Right after that, fertiliser consmption dropped considerably to 0 in June. During the second half of the year, the amount fluctuated constantly and ended up with just below than 0.5 ton in December.
In terms of rainfall, it seemed to affect the use of fertiliser. From 12mm in January, it soon reached the highest in February with 16mm, then decreased significantly until October. After that, it increased markedly to 14mm in December.
