On a recent holiday you lost a valuable item. Fortunately you have travel insurance to cover the cost of anything lost.
Write a letter to the manager of your insurance company. In the letter:
* Describe the item you lost
* Explain how you lost it
* Tell the insurance company that you would like them to do

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to claim the insurance for my bag which I recently lost at Changi Airport when I travelled to Singapore last month on holiday.
It was a medium size tote bag which I normally used when travelling overseas and the colour of the bag was mixed of blue and brown. There was also a small logo of “Coach” brand in the middle top of it. In addition, there were a laptop named Dell, and Iphone 7 plus and my wallet inside my bag. I estimated the total value of the lost item was approximately USD5,000.
Actually the airport was extremely crowded when I landed at Changi Airport and I was busy taking care of my little kid so I put the bag on the chair in the arrival hall. After I queued for my luggage, I came back and realised that the bag had disappeared.
As I bought a full insurance package for that trip, I hope your company could cover the value of my lost bag. It would be grateful if you could send me the detailed procedures and related documents on how to claim a lost item.
I am looking forward to your help in the coming process. Please contact me via my mobile number if required.
Yours faithfully,
