The charts show the percentage of income spent on food and other goods in 3 European countries from 1998 – 2008.
The bar charts give information about the amount of expenditures people spent on foods and other products in three different countries namely France, Germany and England between 1998 and 2008.
Overall, all countries saw significant increases in the percentage of income used to purchase sustenance and other items.
In 1998, German allocated the largest proportion of income to food, at exactly 25%. Ten year later, the figure rose slightly to 30%.
