The charts below show the percentage of water used for different purpose in six areas of the world.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.The pie compares the percentage of water consumption for three main purposes in six areas of the world.
Overall, the amount of water used for domestic and industrial is just a slight difference in almost regions. Most water in North America and Europe is used for industrial, while the main purposes of using water in another place are to cater for agricultural.
Regarding North America and Europe, the demand for water for domestic used is not high, average about 14% of the total, while about a haft of water consumptions in both areas is for industrial, accounting for 48% and 53% respectively. The proportion of water catering for agricultural is just slightly lower than the industrial’s, about 9% in both places.
The majority of water in other regions is for agricultural, with 71% amount of water used in South America, and above 80% in the remain areas. The percentage of water used for domestic is usually lager than the figures for industrial, it can be showed by the gaping between two figures is just about 2% in Africa and Central Asia and 9% in South America. However, those figure in South East Asia shows the opposite, at 12% water for industrial use and 7% for domestic use.[8/13/2019, 3:49:43 PM] Cám ơn các bạn!
