The table depicts demographics in term of six sectors in two different countries in the years 1980 and 2002.
Overall, it is noticeable that the number of inhabitants in Malaysia grew faster in comparison to Australia. Also, the proportion of women in Australia was slightly higher than men, while the opposite was seen in Malaysia.
In the year 1980, the disparity in population between the two countries was minimal, at only about 1 million. In the following years, however, while the number of Australian people rose by 5 million in 2002, the figure for Malaysia almost doubled compared with its previous data, reaching 24.3 million. In the meantime, the proportion of genders in Australia remained stable, whereas these statistics in Malaysia fluctuated 0.3% during the period shown.
In terms of birth rate, the two countries saw downward trends. These figures for Malaysia also overtook Australia by a wide margin ( 3.2% and 2.2% compared to 1.5% and 1.3% ). Conversely, the figures for citizens aged 65 in both countries experienced the growth. Average annual proportion growth in Australia saw an increase of 0,1%, in contrast, this rate of Malaysia declined from 2,4% to 2,1%.[10/1/2019, 9:53:08 PM] Cám ơn các bạn!
