1. The following diagram shows how greenhouse gases trap energy from the Sun. Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown in the diagram.
The diagram illustrates the causes and process of the greenhouse effect in the day time. As it shown prom the graph, there are two main reasons leading to this harmful phenomenon which prevents the energy from the sun arriving the ground and heat from releasing to the space.
The forming progress of the greenhouse gas starting with the assembly of remaining carbon dioxide discharged from the burning fossil fuels of vehicles as well as factories and not being absorbed totally due to the scarcity of tree . These emissions gather together, create a thin layer floating in the sky.
When the sun sets, it provide light and essential factors to the Earth but not all of these energy could arrive to the land – parts of them is blocked by the carbon dioxide layer and turned back. Meanwhile, as the sunshine brings energy which includes of heat, it warms up the ground continually. When the heat energy radiates again to the sky, helping reduce the temperature of the ground, a significant amount of it is trapped by the greenhouse gasses and turns back to the land. As a result, the weather becomes hotter and hotter, leading to other negative effects all over the world.Attachments:
