The pie charts depict the percentage breakdown of areas that imported goods from three other countries in the year 2010.
Overall, other Latin America was where imported the majority of goods from Chile and Argentina, Also, most of Mexico’s exports were distributed to America.
From the charts, it can be seen that the export trends in Argentina and Chile had a similar pattern. The majority of their exports went to other Latin America, at 38% and 31% respectively. Likewise, the region which imported the second most goods in both these countries was Europe, at 26% for Argentina, and 30% for Chile. Also, Chile’s exports to other countries accounted for the lowest amount among four sectors, at 18%, which was 2% higher than that for Argentina.
In contrast, the vast majority of Mexico’s export commodities were to the USA with 62%. Merely 6% of total export goods were distributed to other countries in Mexico, compared with 20% for Argentina and 22% for Chile. Similarly, Mexico exported 12% of its goods to other Latin America and Europe, and this figure was evenly divided between two these areas.
