Task 1: You have recently moved to different house
Write a letter to an English-speaking friend. In your letter:
– Explain why you have moved?
– Describe the new house?
– Invite your friend to come and visit
——————————————————————————–Dear John,
How are you these days? I hope that you are feeling great with your new house in Texas. I also have just finished my movement to another apartment and it’s time to let you know.
My previous house contract was ended last month. I used to plan to extend the contract’s period. However, the land owner increased the rent price up to 40% and denied to repair the broken roof. Per my analysis, not only the rent cost per month would increase dramatically but also the living standard is becoming worse. As a results, I decided to relocate my house to another one.
My current home is an apartment in a new mall which is 3km far from old house. It’s two-bedroom apartment decorated in Scanadivia style which brings very fresh feeling for every time I entered inside. I feel very sastify with new place: the convenient facilities with supermarket in ground floor, gym and green park where I can organize BBQ party.
I plan to organize the BBQ party next Sunday to celebrate my new home. It’s great if you could come to enjoy the party and visit my new home. Please let me know if you can could arrange.
