The line graph gives information about the changes in people who own a car in Great Britain over a period from 1961 through 2001.
It is clear that the proportion of people having 2 or more cars was the lowest during period shown. Also, the figure for people who have no car saw a decrease between 1961 and 2001.
In 1961, nobody had 2 or more cars, while the percentage of people owned one car and no car was about 35% and above 60% respectively. Ater 10 years, the figure for individuals with two or more than had an increase to about 12%, that of people with no cars decreased to approximately 45%. Also, this rate in people owned one car rose to nearly 45%.
By 2001, the proportion of people with 2 or more cars increased to nearly 30%, compared to around 30% of individuals with no cars. Besides, the ratio of individuals had one car reached a highest point, of above 40%.Attachments:
