The graph below shows the rate of smoking per 1000 people in Someland from 1960 to 2000

The line graph illustrates data on 1000 people who smoked in Someland between 1960 and 2000.
Overall, the figures for men smoking are higher than those for the women. The smoking rate of men decreased over the period of 60 years. By contrast, the trend of women smoking were fluctuated.
In the 1960-2000, the moking rate in women always remained above 100 people. The figures for women who smoking increased significantly at around 200, after a increase about 100 people in 1960. The Woman smoking rate remained relatively constant between 1965 and 1970. The rate for those who smoked was at the highest point of exactly 300 people. Throughout the remainder of the period, there was a gradual decline in the woman smoking rates, which fell to 200 people by the year 2000.
In the 1960s, there was the highest point of men smoking rate of the whole line graph, 600 people; while the figures for women was slightly lower. During the 60-year period, the number of men smoking were in terms of a general decline. Additionally, the number for both smoking groups saw a similar figures in 2000.
