The table shows the worldwide market share of notebook computer market manufacturers in the year 2006 and 2007.
The given table illustrates the notebook computer market of some companies around the world between 2006 and 2007. Overall, productions of HP and Dell were used the most in two those years.
First of all, HP ranked 1[st] position, with the figure in 2006 being 31,4%. It increased by 3% in 2007, 34% in total. Standing at the 2[nd] position are other manufacturers. The total quantity of productions in 2006 occupied 22,8%, but it soon experinced a 3% decrease in 2007, accounting for 19,3% and being followed by Dell and Acer. For Dell, the total percentage of computers were sold in 2006 was 16,6% compared to 11,6% of Acer. In the year 2007, the figures in these two companies were 20,2% and 10,7% respectively.
The next brand is Toshiba, its market share were not high in both 2006 and 2007, occupying only 6,2% (2006) and 7,3% (2007). Two left brands are Lenovo and Fujitsu-Siemens.They also did not have high market segments in comparison with other companies, with the recorded figures of two companies in 2006 were 6,6% and 4,8% relatively. While Lenovo had a slight decrease in 2007 (6,5%), Fujitsu-Siemen’s market share went down a half compared to the previous year, being only 2,3%.204 words.
