Overall, there are 5 stages in the whole electricity -producing process, beginning with pumping down cold water to underground and ending with electricity being generated.
Firstly, cold water is pumped down beneath the ground with 4,5 kilometers in dept to go into injection well. Then, following the flow, the water goes past a geothermal zone containing hot rocks before reaching to a production well. At the next stage, hot water which is heated by hot rocks is pumped back to the surface.
Afterwards, the water is stored in a condenser where it is transformed into another state of matter- steam. At the fifth stage, the steam goes through a pipe leading to a turbine which spin around due to the power of the steam. Subsequently, the rotation of the turbine powers the generator to produce electricity. In the final step, electricity is transferred to a power line and ready to be used.
