Firstly, the honey bee is in the shape of an egg. Then it takes 9 – 10 days for this egg hatches before metamorphosing into a nymph. The next stage occurs after 5 days, this nymph moults for the first time. The second and third time takes place after 7 days and 9 days, respectively, after completing the previous stage.
At the fourth stage, after encountering 3 times of moulting, a nymph emerge as a young adult. Afterward, a honey bee spends 4 days in its lifetime to develop into the appearance of a mature adult.
