Overall, it is evident that the honey bee undergoes four main stages as it grows to maturity. The data also indicate that the whole life cycle occurs 34 to 36 days.
Firstly, the life cycle of the honey bee starts from the female lays 1 or 2 eggs every 3 days. In each egg, an embryo develops gradually and normally it takes 9 to 10 days for the nymph, to hatch. Then, the nymph escapes from the egg to continue the grow-up process.
The following step, occurs 30 days later, the nymph moults 3 times as it grows into the young adult emerge. The first moulting happens after 5 days since the hatched stage, then the second and third times occurs after 7 days and 9 days, respectively. Easier to see, the insect almost change about size, which is approximate triple during the period. The final step, it takes 4 days for the young adult been to develop to the fully shape and the life cycle therefore starts anew.Attachments:
