The table compares the proportion of cultural activities’ participants aging from 16 to 74 in terms of 6 activities including crafts, cultural purchases, visual art, writing, computer based and any performance.
Overall, it can be seen from the table that people in the 16-24 age group accounts for most of these activities. It is also noticeable that computer based activity is the one that less joined by all 3 age groups. According to the table, group aged 16 to 24 tends to enjoy visual art than any other age group, respectively 30% and 35%, double those of the oldest group which only takes the percentage of 22% and 15% respectively. By contrast, the group of people aged 45 to 74 took part in crafts and cultural purchases excess those of 16-24 group by 11% and those of 25-44 group about 1-5%.
It is also worth mentioning that only 5% of the oldest people participate in writing and computer activities, while those of 16-24 group are the highest, which are over 10% but below 17%. That leads to the lowest percentage of writing and computer based activities’ participants in all aged 16 and over groups, while the highest ones belong to crafts and other activities.
