Given are figures concerning the percentage of consumer budget on various types in 5 distinct countries in 2002.
Overall, it is evident that, in all 5 countries, people spent almost their money for foodstuff. The second and third cost type belonged to fashion and entertainment/study, respectively.
Firstly, there were striking similarities between the expenditure of foodstuff in Ireland and Turkey, which stood at 28,91% and 32,14%, respectively. Whereas, namely, the proportion of this data in Italy, Spain and Sweden was 16,36%; 18,8% and 15,77%.
About consumer cost of fashion, Italian spent 9%, while these remaining countries accounted less than 7%. Besides, standing at 4,35%, the budget of entertainment and study in Turkey was the most numerous in 5 countries. This was followed by around 3% in the figures in Sweden and Italy. Finally, Ireland and Spain spent approximately 2% cost for both relaxing and study.Attachments:
